This week’s Monday Meditation is from Psalm 118:24:

This is the day that the Lord has made;
    let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Lord, it is so easy to take for granted all that you do for us. Help us to remember that even this day which we are enjoying belongs to you and comes from you. Let us be reminded to live this day, and every day, for you. You have given us this day, let us make the most of it.

Lord, we lift up our voices and our hearts to you, we praise you and we thank you. As we head into a new week I pray that I will rejoice and be glad in the day you have made no matter what might come my way.

I pray these words in the name of your son Jesus Christ.

Amen
