This week’s Monday Meditation comes from Acts 4:13:

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.

Lord, as we head into the new week I ask that you give me the strength and the knowledge to spread the Gospel when the opportunity arises. We are ordinary, common people like Peter and John, and while we don’t walk with you in the flesh as they did we are walking with you daily. We know that you are with us. May our words and our actions astonish those around us, let the world see your light through us. And let us speak boldly in your name.

I ask this in Jesus’ holy name, the name above all names.

Amen
