This week’s Monday meditation is from Hebrews 13:8:

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

Lord, we know that in this world things change. While we do not know what lies ahead of us this week, we do know that you are always there for us. We know that amidst the flux of the world you remain static. We find comfort in knowing you are our unchanging rock and stronghold which cannot be shaken.

You, Lord, are the one constant we can count on in an ever changing world and we thank you and we praise you for your steadfast love and patience as we begin a new week. Lord, please watch over us and guide us in your ways. Help us to be your representatives to all of those we come in contact with.

We pray this in Jesus’ precious name.
