In this video Frank Turek discusses causality with a skeptic who asks Frank about the Cosmological argument. Frank makes the point that if causality did not exist outside of space and time than logic wouldn’t even work.

Frank talks about how all of science is based on the assumption that every effect has a cause, and then asks why would we abandon that when we come to the ultimate cause and effect?

The skeptic seems pretty well informed so this ends up being a very interesting debate that goes a little bit into the weeds.
