My name is Steve and I am a Christian, a husband and a father. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in 2015 after being lost for many years. Please visit “My Testimony” to read about my journey to Christ.

For over ten years I had a political blog, but after coming to Christ I began to realize that the blog was making it very hard for me to walk in the Spirit. I had put a lot of time and effort into growing a modest following but in 2021 it was time for me to walk away. I liked to think of it this way: it was time to stop trying to save the country and time to start to work on saving my soul. I had to focus on God and making him my King, this was more important than who became our earthy “king.”

I had toyed with the idea of turning that blog into a blog about Christianity, in fact I did scatter a few articles into the blog, but I decided it wasn’t the time. I was unsure of what to write and I was sure others have already written and said what I was going to write, only better than I could.

So, where does it go from here? That’s a question I’m still pondering. I do not know where this will go, but I do know that I want this to be a place where we can learn from, and help, fellow believers as well as a place where we can teach and guide those who are lost and searching.

We have been commanded both to encourage one another (1 Thessalonians 5:11) and to make disciples around the world (Matthew 28:19) and that is the ultimate goal of Cross Talk.
