When God Asks Questions
If God knows everything, sees everything, and is everywhere, why does He ask so many questions? There must be a reason. In order to answer this we’ll start by looking at a few examples from Scripture to see what is at the center of these questions.

“If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.” We’ve probably all heard this saying, or its variation, “If you don’t believe in something, you’ll fall for anything.” This is a true statement, but I have an issue with it. The issue is the word something because something can be anything. And anything is not always something you should stand for.

Many theologians believe that Jesus was active throughout the Old Testament. These pre-incarnate appearances of Jesus are called Christophanies. Christophanies are a much debated topic: Theologians don’t agree on how many there were, or even if there were any. There is also debate over which appearances are more likely to be Theophanies or angels. We are going to briefly touch on a few of them today.
