This week’s meditation is on Isaiah 43:2:
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they will not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched,
Nor will the flame burn you.
Lord, you are always here with me, walking with me, guiding me, and protecting me. You will never leave me and you will never forsake me.
Lord, if trouble comes my way this week and I start to feel the waters rising around me, or the fire getting closer to me, help me to remember you are there to see me through it.
Lord, I praise you and glorify your name for your righteousness, your steadfastness, and your patience. I am not always deserving of the goodness of your grace, but you still hold me close and keep me safe.
Thank you Lord for always being there with me when I need you, and thank you for being there even when I forget I need you. Help me to focus this week and to keep you always in my heart and on my mind.
I pray in your Son’s Holy Name, Jesus.
Amen
