This video is a little longer than the ones I usually share but it’s worth watching to the end. This is Stephen Meyer discussing how science has eclipsed atheism. It’s about physics and the beginning of the universe.

It is interesting to hear how Einstein understood his theory of relativity pointed to the universe having a beginning, but didn’t want to accept that because he knew where that would lead.

So what did Einstein do? He created a cosmological constant to offset the possibility of an expanding universe. Einstein eventually recanted and admitted the universe had a beginning.
