This week’s meditation is Psalm 55:22:

Cast your burden on the Lord,
    and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
    the righteous to be moved.

Lord, I put everything at your feet and in your hands. You know my worries, my concerns, my needs, and my wants. I lay everything before you, trusting you, and waiting on you.

I know that you will sustain me. You know what I need more than I do. Sometimes what I think I need is really just something I want. But you see through it all, you know what I truly need, and you will provide it through your loving kindness, your grace, and your mercy.

Lord, I thank you for constantly lifting me up and for sustaining me, when I falter you are there for me to pick me up, dust me off, and start me on the path again. You are with me always and I praise your holy name.

Lord, thank you for being my rock.

Amen
