This week’s meditation is on Psalm 100:4-5:

Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
    and his courts with praise!
    Give thanks to him; bless his name!

⁵ For the Lord is good;
    his steadfast love endures forever,
    and his faithfulness to all generations.

Heavenly Father, with Thanksgiving coming up this week I just wanted to stop for a moment and say thank you for your steadfast love and for your faithfulness. I enter your gates with thanksgiving, and I praise and bless your holy name!

Lord, thank you for always being there as my rock and my fortress even when I did not look to you as my rock and my fortress. I have been thinking a lot lately about your faithfulness to me when I was not faithful to you, and I am in awe of your great love for me despite my failings even while I was an apostate.

Lord I pray I will never forget what you did for me when I called out your name in the darkness. You took me back in, and I pray that you will always find me glorifying your name.
