This week’s meditation is Psalm 91:4:

He will cover you with his feathers,
    and under his wings you will find refuge;
    his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. (NIV)

What a beautiful image of the protection and shade you offer me! Like the hen gathers her chicks you long to gather your people to you. Thank you Lord for covering me and protecting me, for being faithful to me, and for gathering me in your wings to save me from the storms when I am overwhelmed.

Your faithfulness never stops amazing me! I praise you and thank you for never leaving my side. I thank you for always remembering me when I am overcome with distractions that are only temporary and I ask you to help me refocus on the eternal.

I ask this in Jesus’ name.
