In this interview J Warner talks about how he, as an atheist, went to church one day just to please his wife. However, the pastor made some statements in the sermon that drew his interest. He went home and bought a Bible, thinking he would find what he called “Fortune Cookie Jesus.” He thought he would find the new testament to be a book full of Jesus’ parables, or Confucius-like wise sayings, but what he found in the Gospels was a historical narrative.

He then used his experience as a crime scene investigator to dig into the historicity claims and eventually accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

After giving this brief summary of his testimony he moves on to how he used his investigative knowledge to determine the resurrection of Christ actually happened. This video ends before he talks about how, as a naturalist, he was finally able to get over the hump when it came to miraculous events, but it is still well worth the watch.
