Monday Meditation: 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Today’s meditation is on 2 Corinthians 1:3-4:

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Dear Father in heaven, thank you for being my comfort in times of trouble. Thank you for rescuing me when I was in my affliction. Your mercies abound even though I do not deserve them.

Lord, may I use the comfort I received from you to show others of your great love. I believe what you did for me can be a comfort to others who are in affliction who do not know you. Lord, help me to identify any opportunities to spread the comfort that can only be found in your word to others.

You are my refuge and my rock and I glorify your holy name!

Amen
