This week’s meditation is Matthew 5:16:

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

God calls us to be a beacon of light to others, lighting the way for them to Christ. Everything we say and do is a reflection of who we are. With our actions, and in our words, are we shining the light of Christ on the world?

Heavenly Father, I pray that no matter where I go, no matter what I do, and no matter what I say that my light will shine before others.

I pray that I will always cheerfully do your will. I pray that I will be a beacon of light that draws people to you through me.

Amen
