This week’s meditation is Isaiah 26:4:

Trust in the Lord forever,
    for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.

Heavenly Father, I put all of my trust in You. I will trust in your ways for you are my everlasting rock. You lift me up when I need it, and you also bring me down when I need it. Keep me steady dear Lord.

People may let us down from time to time, but Lord, you never do. You are always there with me, and you will never abandon me. It is I who sometimes for get to look to you first. When I do turn to you, I see you still there.

I pray, God, that I will remember to always look to you first. And that I will always remember to thank you when things are going well. For everything come through you.

Heavenly Father, thank you for being my rock. Thank you for your steadiness, and your unchanging and undying love for me.

Amen
