This week’s meditation is on Psalm 34:7

The angel of the Lord encamps
    around those who fear him, and delivers them.

What a joy it is to know that you have encamped around me and that you will deliver me! You will protect me and you guide me. No matter what situation I am in, you are there to provide shelter for me.

Sometimes it is easy to forget this, Lord, but I pray that I will always turn to you first no matter what battle I am facing. You are my rock and my fortress. I will make my stand with you. You are my refuge. When I have been beaten down I will look to you, and you will lift me up.

Heavenly Father, I thank you and I praise you for you will never abandon me.

Amen
